We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled School Speech Language Pathologist to support an elementary school district in delivering high-quality education and health services. Position Details

Position: School Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Pierce County, WA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 36.5 hours/week

Duration: 2025-2026 School Year

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, addressing communication challenges related to articulation, fluency, voice, and language development.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement strategies that support student success in the classroom and beyond.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Connect students with community resources and support services as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Washington State Speech-Language Pathology License
• ESA Certification for School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists in Washington State
• Proven experience working with diverse student populations, including those with speech and language disorders
