LeverageTek is actively seeking a 12-month contract for an Accounts Payable Specialist with its US-based customer.
Work Location: Onsite 5x week at customers HQ
Key Tasks
• Process invoices, employee expenses, and payment requests promptly and accurately.
• Communicate with vendors to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and process credits or adjustments.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to payments, statements, or outstanding balances.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement policies and facilitate accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor and maintain the accounts payable mailbox, responding to emails and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
• Handle high-volume transaction processing with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize tools like Basware, NetSuite, and Kyriba to support AP processes and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, including support for year-end reporting (e.g., 1099 and 1042 filings).
• Reconcile accounts, analyze statements, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support audits by providing documentation and addressing inquiries related to accounts payable.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with the team to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Key Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable with exposure to high-volume processing environments.
• Experience with AP systems and ERP platforms such as Basware, NetSuite, or Workday.
• Highly Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.
