Join our team at Venza Care Rehab , delivering exceptional support as our next Activities Director . We are a leading rehabilitation facility dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to bring their creativity and leadership to our activities program.

Compensation & Benefits:

1. Salary: $19.00-$23.00/hr commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
2. Plan and organize a variety of activities and events, including recreational, educational, and social programs.
3. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure activities are appropriate and beneficial for residents.
4. Encourage resident participation and create a positive and inclusive atmosphere during activities.
5. Maintain accurate records of resident participation and assess the effectiveness of programs.
6. Manage the activities budget and resources efficiently.
7. Supervise and train activities staff, ensuring they provide high-quality services to residents.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in senior living activities.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or a related field preferred but not required.
2. 1 year of experience in planning and facilitating activities in a senior living or healthcare setting required.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Creativity and enthusiasm for working with older adults.
5. Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of seniors.
6. CNA Certification preferred.
