Our program includes one-on-one training. Our mission is to help clients build strength, enhance mobility, and gain confidence in a welcoming and compassionate space.

Role Description

This is a contract-based on-site position for an Adaptive Fitness Coach located in Media, West Chester, Springfield, and Coatesville PA. The Adaptive Fitness Coach will design and lead specialized fitness programs tailored to the needs of individuals with various physical and developmental abilities. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing one-on-one training, assessing client fitness levels, and fostering an inclusive and encouraging fitness environment. The role also involves monitoring progress, setting realistic goals, and ensuring a safe workout experience aligned with the mission of EmpowerU Specialty Fitness.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Fitness Instruction techniques and familiarity with the Fitness Industry
• Basic knowledge of Nutrition to support clients’ overall health and well-being
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with individuals of diverse abilities
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
• Energetic, patient, and highly motivated with a commitment to promoting health and wellness
