VP Aviation is seeking several Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Technicians for MRO maintenance on a variety corporate/business aviation aircraft offering competitive pay rates.

Position Duties & Responsibilities for the Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Technician:

• This is a contract position.
• Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs and inspections to aircraft, engines, and components for our Part 145 repair station
• Have an understanding of the procedures for the repair station.
• Have the minimum required tools to perform the mechanic duties
• Research maintenance task instruction guidance and parts required in manufacturer’s maintenance manuals to perform the required tasks
• Identification or tagging of all aircraft components when removed from an aircraft undergoing maintenance or modification
• Protecting aircraft exteriors and interior prior to work commencement
• Pay starting at $1,400.00 per week at 40 hours not including OT. Exact pay structure and amount will be disclosed upon application.

Requirements:

• A&P preferred, but can have A or P and working toward the other.
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations and ability to understand manufacturers manuals.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in hot and noisy environment.
