Assembly Technician - Irvine, CA
Pay: $22-$23/hour (based on experience)
Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing

A well-established medical device company in Irvine is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role is ideal for individuals with a mechanical background who are comfortable working with both tools and computers in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on mechanical assembly of precision components

• Use error messages and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Maintain accurate records using Excel and internal systems

• Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude with previous experience in assembly or technical repair

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues based on system error messages

• Strong attention to detail and quality control

Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with any of the following tools or concepts is a plus:

• Multimeter

• Torque driver

• Pipette

• Light meter

• Temperature data logger

• Laser collimation

• Oscilloscope

• Electrostatic discharge (ESD) safety

Ideal Backgrounds May Include:

• Automotive mechanics

• Aerospace

• Engineering or technical service firms
