Optomi, in partnership with a leading state government agency, is seeking a Project Coordinator to join a 2-year IT modernization project (with the possibility to extend). This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who’s eager to learn, grow, and work their way toward becoming a Project Manager!

What You’ll Do:

  • Work alongside senior project leaders on a large-scale Accounts Receivable modernization initiative (MIARC).
  • Take meeting notes, track action items, and keep the project running smoothly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help coordinate project activities from planning through delivery.

  • A smart, motivated, and detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or current/recent college graduate) preferred; relevant internship or project coordination experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document discussions and summarize complex topics.
  • Eagerness to learn project management best practices and work toward taking on more responsibility over time.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
