Position Overview:

As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing community operations, working closely with the Regional Property Manager or VP. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing staff and overseeing community maintenance.
Handling marketing efforts and monitoring market trends.
Managing budgets and ensuring smooth resident relations.
Resolving issues and maintaining high occupancy levels.
You will also be responsible for preparing weekly and monthly reports, including rent and security deposit processing, leasing, renewals, and addressing work orders.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree and/or formal industry training or certifications preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in residential or commercial property management preferred.
Knowledge of housing and employment laws.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with computers and property management software (e.g., Yardi), including Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
Reliable vehicle with proof of liability insurance and a valid driver's license in good standing.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

This role involves walking and climbing stairs frequently.
Ability to lift 25-30 lbs. regularly.
Full-time schedule Monday-Friday with potential for a rotating weekend schedule and overtime as needed.
