Job Description

Our client, a fast-growing tech company in NYC, is looking for an Associate Creative Director, Content Design for a temp-to-perm role. In this position, you will play a key role within the marketing team, helping to shape and refine messaging that balances marketing impact with UX best practices. You will be hands-on in crafting compelling, user-focused content while also guiding junior copywriters when needed. Experience in highly regulated industries is a must.

• This is a temp-to-perm position that requires 2-days/week onsite in Downtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling content that aligns with both marketing objectives and UX best practices.
• Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all platforms and touchpoints.
• Guide and mentor junior copywriters, providing feedback and direction when needed.
• Collaborate with designers, strategists, and developers to create cohesive digital experiences.
• Work within established design systems to maintain brand and content integrity.
• Adapt content strategies to meet regulatory requirements while maintaining creativity and engagement.
• Communicate effectively with clients in highly regulated industries, understanding their constraints and opportunities.
• Stay up to date on UX best practices and industry trends to enhance content performance.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently, balancing speed with quality.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience or marketing copywriting with additional experience in content strategy and UX writing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing marketing and UX-focused content.
• Experience working with highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, insurance).
• Familiarity with design systems and their role in content creation.
• Ability to pivot quickly between hands-on content creation and high-level strategy.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Knowledge of digital marketing trends, SEO principles, and UX best practices.
