Twin City Dodge, part of the Chariot Automotive Group, is looking for an experienced General Manager to join our dynamic Team!
The General Manager is responsible and held accountable for the successful operation of entire dealership. Will manage primary dealership departments including new and pre-owned vehicle sales, service department, parts department, and finance and insurance. Will develop and execute plans to ensure the dealership of a reasonable profit. Will accomplish all objectives through planning, motivating, and coordinating the activities of all departments

Responsibilities and Authority: Management
- Plan the dealership's operations for the coming year and report.
- Obtain, review and recommend improvements for each department manager's monthly forecasts and plans.
- Ensure that every department operates harmoniously and profitably.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the factory.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management.
Personnel
- Enforce company policies/processes and establish procedures for all training programs, monitor their effectiveness, and ensure that they are understood and followed.
- Handle all dealership personnel functions, to include: interviewing, hiring, measuring, evaluating performance, recognizing accomplishments, and terminations.
- Ensure that department managers are training and supervising employees for optimum effectiveness.
- Complete a formal performance evaluation of each department manager once every six months.
- Provide enthusiastic leadership to shape employees' attitudes and build morale.
- Establish teamwork among departments.
- Conduct managers' meetings at scheduled intervals.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management.
- Apply leadership skills to enable all employees to achieve the most success they can in a positive environment of team work.
- Strengthen and enhance the dealerships position in the community.
Other
- Coordinate with each department to ensure that records and analyses are maintained accurately.
- Develop merchandising strategies.
- Develop a cost-effective advertising program.
- Resolve customer complaints that management has not been able to resolve.
- Serve as the "face of the dealership."
- Any other tasks deemed necessary per Management.
Ideal candidates for this position should have a track record of successful management positions and a strong desire to succeed with integrity. You will oversee daily operations in setting big but realistic goals.
Job Requirements:
•Five years of auto dealership management experience. Stellantis experience preferred.
•Strong leadership, and organizational skills.
•Detail familiarity with DMS systems.
•Knowledge and understanding of auto maker financial statements and how they are used to actively manage dealership operations.
•Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory environment for auto dealerships.
