A Day in the Life of a BT/RBT:

🔆 Provide 1:1 Direct Therapy with Clients

🔆 Implement Individualized Skill Acquisition and Behavior Support Programming Created by the BCBA

🔆 Collect Data and Record Data in Online Practice Management System

🔆 Write Session Notes for Therapy Sessions

🔆 Communicate with families about their child's day!

🔆 Receive Supervision from the BCBA while providing Direct Services

🔆 Provide a clean, nurturing, supportive learning environment

🔆 Foster our positive company culture and work environment

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license and proof of car insurance
• Employment is subject to criminal background checks
• Own vehicle or access to own reliable transportation
• Associate's Degree in Psychology, Education or Special Education, or mental health related field preferred.  Bachelor's Degree Highly Preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children or adolescents
• Bilingual is a plus!
• Experience in ABA, PFA/SBT, and Verbal Behavior is preferred but not required

Mental Demands:

• Ability to act with integrity and maintain professionalism
• Ability to respond effectively to varied demands of clients, families, and team members
• Ability to multi-task and take descriptive and accurate documentation and records
• Ability to use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions based on the clinical model of Gateway ABA Therapy LLC
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations with clients in multiple settings
• Ability to recognize your professional limits within your scope of practice and follow those guidelines set forth by the BACB in the Ethical Code for RBTs, regardless of certification status
• Ability to accept and implement feedback professionally to ensure clients are receiving the highest quality of treatment

Physical Demands:

• Ability to move physically and have high levels of energy to play with children
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to use physical guidance to ensure the safety of clients which may require some lifting, bending, reaching and running
• Ability to use proper body positioning to ensure your safety and the safety of the clients
