Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Business Analyst in San Francisco, CA

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid (40% field visits, 60% remote) San Francisco, CA 94107 *Must be local to CA*

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Pay rate : $30-$33/hr

Responsibilities:

• Enhance merchant and customer experience in the "Going Out" in-store program through direct communication, data analysis, and creation of long-term collateral.
• Develop and manage merchant reporting, meeting presentations, emails, and other materials to improve program insights and communication.
• Respond to inbound support tickets, assist with scaling support, and handle ad hoc tasks such as data analysis and presentation creation.
• Conduct in-person merchant visits to address feedback, troubleshoot issues, set up technology (e.g., NFC tiles), and train staff.
• Observe restaurant operations, perform secret shopping for compliance, and track customer interactions with program tiles to drive improvements.
• Requires a friendly, detail-oriented, fast learner with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Google Suite (Excel, Google Sheets).

Requirements:

• Proficient in G Suite, helping update merchant materials and collateral by updating data.
• Creative and data-driven, assisting with pulling reports and insights to share with merchants.
• Travel across San Francisco and East Bay to address merchant pain points, particularly with NFC tile adoption, and train staff on product usage.
• A people-oriented individual who enjoys improving operations and sharing insights with the team.
