Job Description

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.

Experience

2-7 years' work experience in inventory control, purchasing, manufacturing, or related field required. Experience in automotive/truck components, raw material (i.e. Steel, Aluminum) and/or manufacturing processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for negotiating non-complex contracts, tracking orders and maintaining inventory of purchased components. Will be monitoring components as they are produced or received and making sure that they are stored in the proper locations.
• This individual should possess the ability to work well with both management and shop floor employees to ensure that materials are readily available for production and are charged to the correct jobs/accounts.
• Must have an acute attention to detail to ensure that purchased parts are ordered in a timely manner while monitoring, etc. Will be expected to keep employees who are involved in the manufacturing process supplied with the necessary components.
• Will also be responsible for the shipping and tracking of parts to various Curry Supply and/or partner locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Business Administration preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
