Job Title: Transportation Specialists

About the Role: Join our Disruption Management (DM) team as a Transportation Specialist. In this role, you will handle a high volume of phone calls (60-110 calls per day) and coordinate communication between carriers and facilities. You will interact daily with facility managers, warehouse managers, fulfillment centers, drivers, and vendors, delivering excellent customer service with quick turnaround times to resolve issues and close out cases. Note: This is not a customer service position; you will not be working with or taking calls from end-customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls from cross-country truck drivers.
• Coordinate and communicate between carriers and facilities.
• Resolve issues such as roadside problems, weather delays, and trailer availability.
• Deliver excellent customer service and professionalism in all interactions.

Training Schedule:

• 5 weeks total: 2 weeks onsite, 3 weeks virtual.
• Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6pm.

Post Training Schedule:

• Must be available to work Sunday-Thursday OR Tuesday-Saturday (schedule assigned).
• Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days virtual.
• Hours: 9am-5:30pm or 10am-6:30pm (assigned start time).

Compensation:

• $20.82/hr (firm pay rate).

Contract Duration:

• 4-month contracts with possible extensions and strong potential for conversion to full-time employment.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a heavy phone support role.
• Comfortable taking calls all day long.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent professionalism.
• Proficient in Excel and tech-savvy.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, able to work weekends and overtime.
• Willing to work over national and federal holidays.
