Are you a master of your craft looking to build more than just structures? At Trimerge Construction Group, we believe in empowering our people to reach their full potential while delivering world-class commercial renovations that exceed every client expectation. We’re seeking a skilled, motivated Traveling Carpenter who takes immense pride in their craftsmanship and blueprint-reading expertise to join our high-performance team. If you’re a finish-carpentry specialist with a "can-do" attitude who wants a job with guaranteed hours, competitive pay, and a culture that prioritizes your well-being, come help us build something different every day in an environment where your excellence is truly valued! Responsibilities: • Hands-On Execution: Perform a wide range of commercial carpentry tasks with a strong focus on high-quality finish work, including installation of doors, frames, hardware, millwork, cabinetry, trim, and specialty fixtures. • Framing & Drywall: Competently execute framing and assist with drywall hanging as required by the project scope. • Layout & Planning:  Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately lay out work and ensure precise installations. • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the Site Supervisor and other crew members to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. • Quality Control: Uphold Trimerge’s standards for excellence by performing self-inspections of your work to ensure a high-quality, defect-free installation. • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all company and OSHA safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and the entire team. • Problem-Solving:  Proactively identify and report on-site issues to the Site Supervisor, offering practical solutions where possible to keep the project moving forward. Qualifications: • Accurate measuring and math skills required. • Good physical condition and dexterity. • Deep knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and techniques. • Demonstrated expertise in finish carpentry, including millwork, casework, and architectural hardware installation. • Proficiency in framing and a solid understanding of related trades (drywall, acoustical ceilings). • Ability to read and interpret commercial construction blueprints and specifications is mandatory. • Strong understanding of job site safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as part of a larger team. • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills. • Willingness and ability to travel extensively for extended periods is a firm requirement of this position. • OSHA 10 certification is a plus. About Company: Based in Greenville, Alabama, Trimerge Construction Group isn’t just building structures; we are setting the gold standard for commercial and industrial renovations. As a premier contractor, we master everything from the precision of selective demolition to the artistry of high-end finishes, but our true strength lies in our PRIDE.
