Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Practice: Primary Care Concierge Practice in Back Bay

Reports to: Executive Director

Description:

At Personal Health MD, we provide a high-level personalized patient experience to our Concierge member patients. We are a Concierge Primary Care Practice in Back Bay Boston, that believe in caring for our patient’s total wellbeing.

Applicants need high touch communication skills and previous Clinical experience, to be detail-oriented with exceptional work ethics. Applicant cares from the heart, for our patients and for our team. Applicants have the ability to work with a professional team in a fast-paced work environment. We are interested in applicants who are seeking a long-term position only.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Believes in caring for patients from the heart, Has a caring mind-set as part of a high-performance team.
  • Interact with patients to ensure they receive personal, attentive and detailed communications.
  • Must possess high touch written and verbal skills with a dynamic patient population.
  • Obtaining vital signs and rooming patients.
  • MUST have previous experience with specialty referrals and pre-authorizations.
  • Phlebotomy and processing labs.
  • Assist with procedures as necessary.
  • Assist Lead RN in tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (3+ years’ experience) preferably in primary care.
  • Specialty Referrals and Prior Authorizations (3+ years' experience)
  • 3+ years of phlebotomy experience

Knowledge, Skills:

  • Empathetic mind-set with patients.
  • Personable, attentive and with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with EPIC and Athena preferred, strong organizational skills, problem solving.

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Day shift 4 Days per week (32 hours per week), No weekend work.

Pay Range: $25-$28 per Hour

Office Hours: 7:30 am- 3:30 pm.
