A rare opportunity has become available for a highly qualified individual for an Operating Room Circulator Nurse position with daytime hours and no call or weekend shifts . PAY is DOE.
Collaborates with the surgical team on patients undergoing surgical/invasive procedures.
Performs circulating functions, such as monitoring, recoding, and managing overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after surgery.
Verifies identity of patients and surgical location before surgery.
Updates patient medical records before, during, and after surgery.
Prepares and sterilizes operating rooms for use before surgery.
Stocks operating rooms with sterile equipment, linens, and supplies before each surgical case.
Provides pre- and post-operative education to patients and their families.
Assists anesthesia during patient intubation and extubation during surgery.
Requirements:
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
RN license must be active and Unencumbered.
BLS
ACLS
Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screens, and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
