Exclusive Remote Opening for a Seasoned Forensic Engineer

Position: Structural Forensic Engineer

Location: Louisiana (Remote)

Terms: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough site investigations to assess damages due to catastrophes such as storm damage, hurricanes, and floods
Prepare reports that clearly portray cause and origin of failure, extent of loss, and recommended solutions.
Provide expert opinions and analysis to support or refute claims.
Act as an expert witness in legal proceedings, providing testimony based on your findings and analysis
Support and mentor other engineering staff when required

Qualifications

Professional Engineer in Louisiana (PE)
Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
8+ years structrual engineering experience
3+ years forensics experience
Strong analytical and field inspection skills
Deposition and Expert Testimony experience
Experience with storm damage

Additional:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently
US driving license
Willingness to travel
