We‘re seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to oversee and elevate our Claims Department with a focus on operational excellence, financial discipline, and policyholder satisfaction.

What You‘ll Do:

As Director of Claims , you will lead the strategic and operational functions of the Claims Department across all property and casualty lines. You will drive results through innovation, analytics, and collaborative leadership. Key responsibilities include:

• Directing claims programs for commercial, farm, home, auto, umbrella, and specialty products.
• Establishing and managing policies, procedures, and training initiatives.
• Overseeing litigation, reinsurance, subrogation, and catastrophic response strategy.
• Managing departmental performance, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Reporting to senior leadership on risk, trends, and departmental KPIs.
• Collaborating in the design and review of insurance products and reinsurance placements.
• Leading a high-performing team of claims professionals and supervisors.

Requirements to Succeed:

• Bachelor‘s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in complex, multi-line claims adjustment.
• AIC and CPCU designations preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of claims processes, Missouri and federal insurance regulations, and litigation management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid Missouri Driver's License.
• Willingness and availability for extensive overnight travel.
