Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class B Driver for a temp-to-hire position. Based out of Paramount, CA, this role involves transporting multiple pallets of SPC flooring to both commercial and residential locations within California. The ideal candidate is comfortable with variable shift lengths, experienced in operating forklifts, and capable of handling physical demands.

Core Responsibilities:

• Safe Transportation: Drive routes within CA, delivering flooring materials to various locations, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Efficient Loading and Unloading: Utilize electric pallet jacks and liftgate-equipped vehicles to load and unload flooring materials efficiently at each stop. Your expertise in safe handling ensures products reach their destinations in perfect condition.
• Shift Management: Start your day at a fixed time with a guaranteed 8-hour shift. Enjoy consistency with variable end times communicated in advance, allowing for better personal schedule planning.
• Professional Communication: Serve as a frontline representative of our company to our customers. Your professional communication skills ensure smooth delivery operations and help maintain strong customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Valid Class B CDL: Must possess a current Class B Commercial Drivers License.
• Experience: 3-5 years of driving experience required, with a preference for candidates who have experience delivering to both commercial and residential locations.
• Physical Capability: Able to lift heavy weights up to 95 lbs with assistance and comfortable operating a forklift and Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)
• Dependability: Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential, with flexibility to accommodate variable shift lengths.

Additional Details:

• Shift: 8-hour shift with overtime; start time is 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • The driver will be informed of the shift length one day in advance.
• Cargo Hauled: Multiple pallets of SPC Flooring.
• Delivery Locations: Commercial and residential addresses within California.
