Job Summary:
The Division of Pediatric Research provides support to faculty members in the College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics who lead research projects.
The Clinical Research Nurse will be involved in research design, oversee ethical and participant safety issues, understand the development, approval process, and administration of investigational drugs and devices, be responsible for clinical study operations, management of the study site and all project related data and informatics, and communicate effectively and maintain/facilitate professional relationships with all stakeholders to help ensure successful implementation and workflow of individual clinical studies and overall department/division goals.Skills /Knowledge/Abilities:
Understanding of related scientific and clinical terminology. Ability to identify complex/non-routine problems and work with leadership to solve them. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Good oral/written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required. Computer proficiency to minimally include use of Microsoft Office applications, email, and internet.

Registered Nurse (RN) by time of hire
Preferred Education/Experience:
BSN and at least 3 years of nursing experience. Certification/Board Certification eligibility in the area of specialty preferred. All nurses hired after 10/1/2024 required to complete their BSN within 5 years of their hire date.
