Title: Collections Clerk
Location: Valley Cottage, NY general area
Salary: $26.00-$30.00 per hour depending on experience

Work Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm On-Site
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Overview: The purpose of this role is to perform daily functions to facilitate collection of delinquent accounts.
Responsibilities:
1. Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder.
2. Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.
3. Executes a daily calling schedule to pursue outstanding invoices.
4. Maintains log of payment promises and pertinent account details; schedules follow-up communication with account holder.
5. Monitors accounts receivable and cash receipt reports.
Requirements:
Previous AR/Collections experience
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with account holders in a courteous manner.
