Are you looking for a new opportunity in the Central Illinois area? A highly successful grain company is looking for a Grain Merchandiser/Originator to join their multi-location organization.

This role includes the following responsibilities:

• Provide grain marketing solutions and risk management strategies to producers, enhancing their profitability and sustainability.
• Monitor grain market trends and assist in developing pricing and risk management strategies.
• Help oversee grain inventory management to optimize efficiency and minimize losses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound grain shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the grain division.
• Train and supervise grain employees, promoting teamwork and adherence to operational best practices.

A successful candidate must perform these skills while assisting in managing daily grain operations, including receiving, storage, conditioning, and shipment of grain. Strong candidates must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with local farmers, grain producers, and grain end users while working closely with other departments, including agronomy, energy, and finance, to align business strategies.
