Job Description

FRAME is a Californian fashion brand established in 2012 by Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede.

Since inception, FRAME has embodied Californian modernity with a distinctly European influence through its renowned ready-to-wear collections and coveted denim essentials. Born and raised in Los Angeles, FRAME offers a timeless perspective on everyday chic outfitting via signature tailoring, luxury leather, and quality cashmere.

Today, FRAME is a household name across both women’s and men’s design, with 15 standalone retail stores across North America, two London stores, a store in Shanghai and a dedicated eCommerce website. FRAME can also be found at the most desirable department stores and boutiques worldwide.

FRAME is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Senior Knitwear Designer to join our Ready-to-Wear team. This role is responsible for driving innovation, modernity, and product excellence within our Sweaters and Cut & Sew categories, blending trend research with a deep understanding of craftsmanship and brand DNA.

Assistant to the Senior Director of Concept and Visual Identity

Overview

This role offers a rare balance of structure and creativity. As the assistant to the Senior Director of Concept and Visual Identity, you will support a key creative leader while gaining firsthand exposure to the full scope of shaping a brand’s image and narrative—from early design concepts to campaign execution.

This unique role blends traditional administrative responsibilities with direct exposure to the creative process, offering an opportunity to shadow and contribute to a key creative leadership role within the company.

The position extends across every part of the creative process: preparing collections and vintage references for meetings, contributing to seasonal palettes, assisting with styling and sourcing on set, and helping to craft presentations that define concept and collaboration. It also touches the ongoing expression of the brand, from photoshoots to customer emails—anything visual that shapes how the brand is seen.

The ideal candidate is organized yet intuitive, with a sharp eye for detail and a natural sense of aesthetics. This role calls for resourcefulness, a discerning eye, and an eagerness to learn—an opportunity to grow by shadowing one of the brand’s key creative voices.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

· Manage calendars, expenses, and invoices for the Senior Director.

· Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure materials are ready in advance.

· Maintain organization of samples, archives, and project documentation.

Creative Support

· Prepare collections, mood boards, and vintage samples for meetings and presentations.

· Source vintage pieces, manage the vintage archive, and track relevant purchases.

· Assist in developing seasonal color palettes and research trends.

· Support styling and coordination on set during photoshoots.

· Conduct research for both design and art direction across projects and collaborations.

· Assist in sourcing props, imagery, and materials for shoots and creative projects.

· Create and refine concept presentations post-photoshoot and for seasonal direction, collaborations, and special projects.

Qualifications

· 1–3 years of experience in a creative, fashion, or design-related environment preferred.

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign/Photoshop).

· A keen eye for aesthetics, color, and detail.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn in both creative and administrative capacities.

What We Offer

· Direct mentorship and shadowing of a key creative leader.

· Hands-on involvement in creative projects across concept, design, styling, and art direction.

· Exposure to both strategic and executional sides of brand building.

· Opportunity to grow into a broader creative or operational role within the company
