Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial Construction

Location: Columbus, OH

Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000 + Bonus

About the Opportunity:

We are actively seeking Project Managers for multiple leading general contractors in Columbus, Ohio. These firms specialize in multi-family, hospitality, and commercial projects and are looking for experienced professionals to lead projects from preconstruction through completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Full Project Lifecycle: Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
  • Lead Project Teams: Collaborate with Superintendents, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, RFQ packages, and other key project documents.
  • Budget & Scheduling Oversight: Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates and addressing challenges as needed.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to junior staff, supporting their professional growth while ensuring project success.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager , Assistant Project Manager , Project Engineer , or Superintendent in multi-family, hospitality, or commercial construction .
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, project management processes, and contract administration.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively manage project teams and communicate with all project stakeholders.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 is required; LEED GA/AP is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Education: An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
