Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, construction budgets, and project schedules
• Conduct site inspections and assess job readiness
• Determine labor, material, and subcontractor needs for each project
• Lead and participate in pre-construction meetings
• Manage and direct on-site activities for employees, subcontractors, tradesmen, and vendors
• Handle full buy-out of projects under $5,000; assist Project/Sales Managers with larger buy-outs
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Review and approve timesheets and invoices for accuracy and contract compliance
• Travel to remote markets to estimate, launch, and manage operations, ensuring compliance with local codes and building practices
• Identify and vet local subcontractors and vendors in new markets

Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience (multi-family experience preferred)
• At least 7 years of experience in restoration/build-back or ground-up construction
• Valid driver’s license required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required; Procore experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and subcontractor relationship management skills
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Confident decision-maker with a proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving
