About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Compliance Manager to serve as a Lead Advisor on client engagements. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading our compliance projects, serving as the subject matter expert, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate will embody our customer-centric approach with a "Let me take care of that for you" attitude—focusing on solutions rather than dwelling on problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and customize comprehensive project plans with clear milestones for cybersecurity compliance initiatives
• Act as the subject matter expert on compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and others
• Manage implementation teams and tackle complex compliance/technical tasks to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Develop, write, and maintain policies and procedures for clients to ensure compliance with relevant standards
• Execute security assessments, gap analyses, and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate controls
• Build and implement technical controls across various cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Collaborate effectively with client stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Proactively communicate project status, identify potential issues, and propose solutions
• Mentor Support Analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service delivery methodology
• Stay current with evolving compliance requirements, cybersecurity best practices, and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security, risk management, and/or compliance
• Proven experience implementing and managing compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
• Strong understanding of technical controls and security best practices in cloud environments
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
• Superior communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and provide exceptional service

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
• Experience with compliance automation platforms (Drata, Vanta, SecureFrame, etc.)
• Knowledge of security assessment tools and methodologies
• Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) software
• Experience in conducting security awareness training programs
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
