JustTech, LLC is actively seeking a Delivery Driver for local and intrastate deliveries. The position will be based in Fredericksburg VA at our Distribution Center. Under the direction of the Logistics Supervisor the incumbent will perform pick-up and deliveries of copiers, printers, and supplies to customers primarily in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, DC, Ohio, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. JustTech is a technology company based in La Plata, Maryland, specializing in providing office equipment, managed network services, IT support and print management solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities
• Loading and unloading equipment and supplies at the distribution center and at customers sites
• Operate a box truck or van in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Maintain all records required by DOT while operating the delivery vehicles
• Coordinate the maintenance for the delivery vehicles to maintain top condition
• Sort equipment and supplies at the distribution center
• Assist with the cleaning of the distribution center and with the disposal of pallets and other waste
• Assist the Logistics Supervisor with route planning and schedules
• Work with the Logistics Supervisor on cleaning and prepping equipment for delivery
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Must possess the skills and abilities to be licensed to operate trucks up to 12,000 lbs
• Ability to follow maps and or GPS to unfamiliar locations
• Operate a drop lift gate to load or unload equipment without damage
• Physically able to move equipment from truck to customer site
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work alone with little direct supervision
• Have ability to operate a small forklift
• Knowledge of working with DOT and OSHA are desired
• Must pass a DOT Physical for Commercial Drivers
• Able for overnight travel
Education, Training, and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experienced at operating a large commercial vehicle
