Job Description

Our specialty practice is seeking a front office receptionist/ scheduler whose strength is for customer service and scheduling and has a genuine interest in helping people.

An ideal candidate is:

• Punctual, respectful

• Loving to talk to patients, and making them feel welcome
• Caring about people and wants to make a difference
• Highly sensitive to the importance of patient care and communication
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, independent thinker, quick learner
• Proficient with the requisite computer functions, typically expected in dental office
• Comfortable presenting financial arrangements and collecting fees
• Open to feedback and positive criticism. Eager to learn and improve.

Main duties:

• Checking in and outpatients
• General administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, scheduling, basic bookkeeping, insurance/payment tasks, phone call communications with patients/ referrals/ doctors, insurance companies, etc...
• Inventory and supply management
• Office maintenance / out-of-office errands

Occasional back-office duties:

• Seating patients
• Operatory set up
