Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist with Azure and Terraform Experience

Location: Greenwood Village, CO & Omaha, NE - 5 Days onsite

Duration: 12+ Months contract to hire

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support and experience with Azure and Terraform. This role involves a mix of desktop support, repository updates, and programming workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent desktop support (70% of the role).
• Update repositories and manage documentation (30% of the role).
• Program and automate workflows.
• Utilize any type of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) experience.
• Leverage Azure experience to manage cloud services.
• Apply system administration skills to maintain and support infrastructure.
• Use Terraform to build and manage infrastructure, with templates provided by architects.
• Quickly adapt to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) if coming from a different virtual background (e.g., VMware, Zendesk).

Requirements:

• Proven experience in desktop support.
• Experience with Azure is essential.
• System administration experience is beneficial.
• 1-3 years of experience with Terraform is a must.
• Familiarity with VDI solutions.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Preferred Background:

• Experience with VMware, Zendesk, or similar virtual environments.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on Azure specifics.
