We’re partnering with a cutting-edge AI and software company in the South Bay that’s redefining their industry. Backed by top-tier investors, the company is scaling quickly and preparing for a future IPO. They’re hiring a Director of Accounting to lead global accounting operations. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role owning the close process, consolidation of foreign entities, SOX and audit readiness, and partnering cross-functionally as the company grows. Key Highlights: Lead global close and reporting processes across multiple entities and currencies Build and scale systems and controls to support SOX and IPO-readiness Own NetSuite enhancements, audit prep, and process improvements Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, and HR on cross-functional initiatives Manage and mentor a growing accounting team Contribute to S-1/SEC filings and public company infrastructure Ideal Background: CPA with 10+ years’ experience, including Big 4 and high-growth SaaS Strong NetSuite skills (administration, automation, integrations) Experience consolidating international entities and managing outsourced partners IPO or public company prep experience strongly preferred This is a rare opportunity to build the accounting backbone of a soon-to-be public tech company.
