Location: Eastaboga, AL

Job Summary

The IT Director will spearhead our IT strategy, infrastructure, and innovation efforts. This visionary leader will have a deep passion for technology, a proven track record of transforming IT operations, and the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, enhance system efficiency, and foster a culture of technological advancement within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

· Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the company's growth and operational objectives.

· Infrastructure Vision: Design, oversee, and optimize a secure, and scalable IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud systems, and applications.

· Innovation Driver: Identify and implement emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cloud solutions, automation) to enhance business processes and maintain a competitive edge.

· Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow IT support staff and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and professional development.

· Budget Oversight: Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and performance standards.

· Cybersecurity: Ensure robust security measures, including risk assessments, compliance with regulations and disaster recovery planning.

· Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to optimize performance and value.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to understand their technology needs and deliver tailored solutions.

· Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs to measure IT performance and report on progress to executive leadership.

Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA are welcomed.

· Experience: 8+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing IT operations

· Technical Expertise: Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise software systems.

· Visionary Mindset: Proven ability to anticipate technology trends and translate them into actionable strategies that drive business value.

· Leadership Skills: Strong ability to inspire and lead teams, manage change, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.

· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Passion for IT: Genuine enthusiasm for technology and a commitment to staying current with industry advancements.

· Certifications: Certifications are welcomed, to include CISSP, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent.
