Pressed Juicery is growing and hiring a Director of IT.

As we continue to expand, we're seeking a Directof of IT to drive a best-in-class technology experience for our Support Center and manufacturing teams.

This is a hybrid role based in Culver City, CA, with a blend of in-office and remote work.

The Role

The Director of IT drives a best-in-class technology experience for our Support Center and manufacturing teams. They provide oversight and strategic management of all technology-related tasks, including planning and leading technological projects, managing innovation, allocating resources and budgets, and managing both internal and external managed service providers (MSP). As both a visionary and technical specialist, they leverage technology as a competitive edge to meet business objectives and improve overall organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies and roadmaps to promote competitiveness and growth.
• Ensure technology investments drive competitive advantage and long-term value.
• Effectively manage the IT and MSP budgets and technology resources, ensuring cost-effective solutions while optimizing technology investments.
• Lead the management and optimization of Pressed Juicery’s technology infrastructure, including hardware, software networks, and cyber security.
• Ensure technology system reliability, security, and scalability.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and mitigate technology risks.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity measures, IT policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of technology projects.
• Nurture and lead the IT and MSP teams; foster a culture of technological innovation, team collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Work with senior leadership to leverage technology trends for strategic and competitive advantages.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technology matters within the executive team; provide regular updates on the status of technology initiatives and performance metrics to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in progressively senior technology leadership roles.
• IT management experience within the restaurant, retail or Consumer Packaged Goods industries.
• Advanced degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Advanced certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Proven success in spearheading technology projects, from conception to implementation to post-deployment analysis.
• Proven success in developing and executing technology strategies to drive competitive advantage and support organizational goals.
• In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, network management, and cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with emerging technology and industry trends.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial planning.
• Ability to analyze and justify IT investments based on their return on investment (ROI).
• Strong project management skills and knowledge of project management methodologies, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating IT risks, including cybersecurity threats.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Culver City, Los Angeles.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
