Banner Medical Group is actively recruiting Pediatric Anesthesiologists for Banner Desert Medical Center (BDMC) in Mesa, AZ. Our current team of seven Pediatric Anesthesiologists is expanding to meet the needs of a thriving pediatric community of over 350,000 children. Banner Children's at Desert Medical Center is a premier, 260-bed pediatric facility featuring:

• Level Two Pediatric Trauma Center
• Level 3 NICU with 104 beds and 24/7 Neonatology support
• 24-bed PICU with round-the-clock Pediatric Intensivist coverage
• 26-bed Pediatric Emergency Department
• 240+ pediatric physicians delivering care across 27+ Pediatric Subspecialties

As Arizona's largest private employer and the primary referral center for pediatric surgeries within the Banner network, we offer a robust practice supported by an established referral system.

Work Schedule & Position Details:

• Full-time (1.0 FTE) position
• 168 rotating 10-hour shifts annually, plus home call
• Post-call days off provided
• Flexible scheduling options available

Qualifications:

• BC/BE Fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist
• Both experienced providers and new graduates encouraged to apply
• Preferred experience with ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, caudal blocks, and difficult pediatric airways
• Ability to obtain Arizona license and DEA
