Multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Designer.
The firm specializes in commercial and institutional projects, with a strong focus on educational facilities.
Responsibilities
• Design and create construction documents for building electrical systems.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to define and design projects based on client requirements.
• Develop designs for a variety of electrical systems, including:
o Power distribution (medium to low voltage)
o Emergency power generation and distribution
o Lighting and lighting control systems
o Low voltage systems (Fire Alarm, Security, and Telecommunications)
• Perform short circuit and coordination studies.
• Ensuring designs comply with building and energy codes.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in MEP electrical design.
• AutoCAD required, Revit a plus
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
