Mackinnon Bruce International, an Executive Search Consultancy within the global Civil Infrastructure, Water and Wastewater industries, are working exclusively alongside a nationally recognized leader within the Water, Wastewater and Engineering markets, who are looking to hire an Engineer (Water/Wastewater) to join their growing team as part of a key strategic hire for their growing division due to continued project work in the region area.

The client

A nationally recognized leader within the civil engineering heavily invested in within the Civil Engineering and Environmental Services industries across the USA. Our client provides leading & innovative design and planning solutions to large and complex civil infrastructure, water, and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Location

This role will be based out of my clients office Rochester, NY.

My client is open to a hybrid working option.

Role & Responsibilities

This role is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized leader, joining their expanding team, whilst leveraging your expertise and knowledge across Water and Wastewater, becoming a critical member of the team, contributing towards project development and execution, as well as supporting new and existing clients across the planning, design, and construction of Water & Wastewater projects.

  • Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering calculations and analysis.
  • Undertake the preparation of project documentation, cost estimates and scopes of work.
  • Ensure the completion of design tasks are within budget and on schedule, meeting both internal and external standards.
  • Work closely with fellow colleagues, providing technical support and oversight to junior staff as well providing mentorship.
  • Travel across projects and site visits as and when required.

Requirements

  • Educated with a Bachelor of Science in a related field.
  • Demonstratable experience across Water/Wastewater projects.
  • Either E.I.T or P.E Certified
