Job Description
Our firm is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to join our dynamic design team. We are a structural design firm with a 60+ year history, consistently delivering safe and economical structures. Typical projects include ground up high-rise concrete structures throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the outer boroughs. The successful candidates shall be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and prepared to work in a true team atmosphere.
Candidate Requirements:
· 0-2 years professional experience
· Has a strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and relevant building codes
· Master’s degree in structural engineering or related fields with relevant course work in concrete and steel design preferred. Applicants with bachelor’s degree and relevant course work will be considered.
· Knowledge of computer software such as ETABS, SAFE, RISA, etc.
· Familiar with latest version of AutoCAD and Revit.
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Ability to meet project deadlines
· Ability to working in a team environment
· Assists team in preparing construction contract documents, plans, and reports
