Job Description

Seeking an Estimator and a Senior Estimator to join our growing team.

*Scaffolding or commercial and/or industrial equipment knowledge and experience preferred*

Responsibilities include:

• Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine the scope of work and material requirements.
• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for equipment, materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to identify potential cost savings or project challenges.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and vendors to gather pricing and technical data for bids.
• Develop and submit competitive bid proposals within deadlines.
• Maintain and update pricing databases and cost history records for future reference.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions, verify measurements, and gather necessary data for accurate estimates.
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to obtain current pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy, scope coverage, and compliance with project specifications.
• Support contract negotiation by providing cost breakdowns and clarifying scope assumptions.
• Track awarded projects to compare actual costs to estimates and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure estimates comply with company policies, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Assist in developing budgets, schedules, and forecasts for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Prepare cost reports and participate in project handoffs to the operations team
