  • Assist Sales and Project Management with cost updates, budget forecasts, and value-engineering options

Support Sales & Client Relationships

  • Serve as a key technical resource for Sales/Business Development during client conversations
  • Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and job walks to clarify scope and gather cost-critical details
  • Provide timely, complete estimates that strengthen client confidence and improve PSC’s win rate
  • Communicate scope, assumptions, and constraints clearly to internal and external stakeholders

Coordinate Internally Across PSC

  • Work closely with Project Managers on handoffs, budgets, and scope alignment
  • Collaborate with Operations/Dispatch on manpower, equipment planning, and schedule feasibility
  • Partner with Finance to support forecasting, cost tracking, and review of estimate performance
  • Keep senior management informed of major opportunities, risks, and high-value bids

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including technical writing)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strategic problem-solver with the ability to think ahead and anticipate challenges
  • Strong planning, reverse-planning, scheduling, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, bids, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing scopes, schedules, and customer needs
  • Effective at building relationships and negotiating with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Ability to work effectively with leadership, peers, field teams, and client stakeholders

Education

· Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field; equivalent industry experience will be strongly considered

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial construction (rigging, millwright, or related field preferred)
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Experience developing and tracking project budgets and/or estimates
  • Experience in industrial sales or customer-facing project roles is a plus

You’ll Succeed Here If You:

  • Think like an owner and feel accountable for the full project lifecycle from first bid to final handoff
  • Are proactive, spotting risks and opportunities early and driving clear solutions
  • Build trust quickly with project managers, superintendents, operators, riggers, and client reps both in the office and in the field
  • Understand how estimates translate to real-world execution, balancing safety, productivity, and cost with practical judgment
  • Stay composed and adaptable when scopes shift, deadlines tighten, or client needs change
