🚧 Public Estimator – Heavy Civil Construction | North Carolina

Location: North Carolina | Experience: 2–5 years | Industry: NCDOT & Municipal Projects

We’re looking for a skilled Public Estimator with 2–5 years of experience in heavy civil construction estimating. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and confident working independently on NCDOT and municipal grading, utilities, and asphalt paving projects.

🔍 What You’ll Do:

Develop accurate turnkey estimates (materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors)
Analyze bid documents, specs, and drawings
Manage bid proposals and scope reviews
Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and project teams
Use HCSS HeavyBid, Planswift, or Agtek for estimating
Participate in pre-bid meetings and proposal presentations

✅ What You Bring:

2–5 years of estimating experience (heavy civil preferred)
Knowledge of HCSS HeavyBid or equivalent
Strong Microsoft Office and takeoff software skills
Local market knowledge a plus
Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Valid driver’s license
