Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Experienced Customs Entry Writer located in City of Industry, CA. The Customs Entry Writer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with customs entry, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating the clearance of shipments.

Job Requirements

• Experience : Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in customs entry writing or related import brokerage roles.
• Regulatory Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, valuation, and other PGA import compliance requirements.
• Documentation & Compliance : Demonstrated ability to accurately prepare, review, and submit import documentation in compliance with customs regulations and client requirements.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in using ABI software (NetCHB preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Proficient working in a paperless environment, including the use of SharePoint for file sharing and collaboration
• Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with customers, Government agencies, and internal teams. 
• Attention to Detail : Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a meticulous approach to document preparation and record keeping.
• Team Orientation : Capability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Language : English, Chinese
• 60 WPM
