Job Summary: RK Auto, a full-service automotive dealership in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the role of Express Service Consultant. This is a full-time, individual contributor position in our busy customer service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Express Service department. Compensation & Benefits: This is a salary position with a competitive compensation package ranging from $32,000 to $52,000 per year, paid on a weekly basis. Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience with our dealership
• Review and schedule service appointments for our Express Service department, utilizing our scheduling software
• Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle and provide accurate service time estimates
• Check in and check out customers' vehicles and accurately record service information
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all service transactions and customer interactions
• Educate customers on recommended maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and satisfactory resolutions
• Collaborate with service technicians and other departments to ensure timely completion of service orders
• Assist with the training and development of new team members in the Express Service department
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience in a customer service or automotive service role is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in computer applications and ability to learn new software quickly
• Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair services is preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
