Primary position responsibilities:

• Check temperatures and pressures on machinery for proper function.
• Completes the daily check off list to include readings on equipment.
• Keeps fire equipment, extinguisher and sprinkler systems ready for use.
• Is familiar with city, state and Federal regulations, pertaining to hospital standards.
• Performs daily, weekly, monthly, bi-monthly and annual preventive maintenance activities.
• Performs work order repairs as assigned.
• Maintains all entrances, driveways, parking areas and exits clear of debris.

Secondary position responsibilities:

• Checks fire alarm boxes, replaces burned out exit lights.
• Cleans vents, exit lights and air ducts.
• Performs other duties as assigned/appropriate

• Minimum of three years experience in working in building or mechanical field.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, mechanical drawings and factory specification sheets.
