About the Role

• Work with a driving partner to ensure continuous transportation. While one driver operates the vehicle, the other rests, enabling longer driving hours.
• Conduct thorough inspections of the truck before and after trips to ensure it is safe and operational.
• Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS and road maps, adjusting for traffic and weather conditions as necessary.
• Adhere to all federal and state regulations, including hours-of-service laws and safety standards.
• Prioritize safety by practicing defensive driving techniques, remaining alert, and following all safety protocols to prevent accidents.

Responsibilities

• OTR 5-6 days and then home for 2 days each week.
• No-touch Freight, Drop and Hook only
• Haul for FedEx Ground
• Approx. 4000-6000 miles every week

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A with Double-Triple Endorsement (or willing to get them)
• Must have minimum 3 years of OTR driving experience with a tractor trailer in the USA
