The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking qualified candidates to fill two temporary, part-time Field Interviewer positions for the Diversion Center in the Division of Forensic Services (DFS) at the New York State (NYS) Office of Mental Health (OMH).
The chosen candidates will assist on an evaluation of Diagnostic Assessment Stabilization Hub (DASH), a crisis stabilization center (CSC) located in Hauppauge, NY. DASH supports law enforcement partners in responding to adults in crisis throughout Suffolk County by providing both drop off and telehealth crisis services. The present evaluation study seeks to conduct 60 one-hour in-person interviews with adults who have received crisis services from DASH. Participant interviews may primarily cluster around Hauppauge, Riverhead and Southampton.
This position entails intermittent work. Training and Equipment will be provided. The chosen candidates must be comfortable meeting with individuals in person.
