Job Summary

As a Field Research Assistant - Note Taker, you will be assisting in planting, pollinating, harvesting, threshing, shipping, weeding, preparing fields, preparing seed, sampling, detasseling, rogueing, and other field and seed activities related to crops and fields.

Job Description

• May operate a tractor, combine, harvester, or various farming equipment such as a sprayer or thresher.
• Most field labor activities occur outdoors.
• May drive a company vehicle to bring materials and equipment to and from work sites/fields.
• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the farms and assets.
• Provide support for the client's Safety program by adhering to all safety policies and attending regular company-sponsored safety meetings.

Skills Required

• 1-3 years of experience
• Must be able to lift weights over 25lbs, be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, handle repetitive job tasks, and have the ability to perform tasks at waist level and below (bending over).

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
