Position: Foreclosure Specialist

Duration : 3-month contract

Pay Rate : $20-$25/hour

Location : Onsite - San Diego, CA

Hours : Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM PST

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Foreclosure Specialist to join our team for a 3-month contract. This is a dynamic role where you'll be responsible for managing foreclosure processes, working closely with investors, mortgage insurance carriers, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure timely processing of default notices and other essential foreclosure documents.
• Monitor foreclosure timelines, issue notices of sale, and prepare deeds for judicial foreclosures.
• Handle loan counseling referrals and process reinstatements, postponements, and judgments.
• Coordinate with property preservation companies to maintain vacant properties and ensure conveyance conditions (ICC) are met.
• Process foreclosure claims, track escrow accounts, and ensure the finalization of loan settlements.
• Review and manage invoices, and ensure the proper handling of insurance refunds.
• Assist with HUD CWCOT claims and other required documentation submissions.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent (College preferred).
• 3+ years of experience processing mortgage foreclosures, with at least one year of FHA foreclosure experience.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong data entry and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with document retention systems (Blitzdoc preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
