Job Description: They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forensic Structural Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed investigations of structural failures, providing expert analysis, and developing comprehensive reports. This role requires a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations of structural failures and deficiencies.
  • Analyze structural components and systems to determine the cause of failures.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
  • Provide expert witness testimony in legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve structural issues.
  • Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on forensic investigations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
