Job Title: Global Supply Chain & Product Launch Lead – New Product Introduction (NPI)

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Boston)

Duration: 12 months (Only USC or GC - potential for extension or FTE conversion)

Employment Type: Contract (W2 or C2C only)

About the Role

We are looking for a Global Supply Chain & Product Launch Lead to drive end-to-end logistics strategy for new product introductions (NPI) in the biopharmaceutical industry . This role will ensure the seamless integration of new therapies , optimize global logistics networks , and develop supply chain strategies to support clinical-to-commercial transitions . The ideal candidate has a strong background in logistics, supply chain operations, and compliance for pharmaceutical products .

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee global supply chain readiness for new therapies, including biologics, gene therapies, and personalized medicine .
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to support new product launches from clinical trials to commercialization .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, regulatory, commercial, and clinical operations) to ensure supply chain alignment.
  • Manage logistics partnerships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), cold-chain vendors, and distribution networks .
  • Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and regulatory requirements for highly regulated therapies.
  • Optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution models to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  • Create executive-level presentations to communicate supply chain strategies and align stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, logistics, or new product introduction (NPI) .
  • Strong expertise in cold-chain logistics, global distribution, and regulatory compliance .
  • Experience in scaling supply chains from clinical to commercial launch .
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional collaboration .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills .
  • Consulting experience in supply chain or logistics strategy (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain , Operations, Engineering, or a related field ( MBA or CSCP preferred ).
  • Experience with complex therapies such as mRNA vaccines, cell therapies, and personalized medicine.
