Job Description

Please note: the company is kept confidential for now, but will be disclosed as soon as you are invited to interview. In order to be considered, all candidates MUST include either a link to a portfolio document or website and must be within commutable distance to NYC. We are in office 3 days a week.

Our company is an established company that is newer to the Creative Services business vertical. We are seeking a graphic designer who understands commercial, consumer-friendly design but is not afraid to push boundaries of what's expected when it comes to deliverables such as pitch decks, brand books, logo design, packaging design, and more! Someone who can work quickly and accurately and is comfortable bringing their ideas to the table, as well as executing ideas from clients. The team will be managing multiple deadlines and projects across a variety of industries and deliverable types.

Coding is NOT required. This is strictly for layout/creative assets.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Support internal teams with creation of sales collateral, brand books, style guides, and presentations, mostly created in powerpoint.
  • Find ways to tell a brand story in presentation mediums such as PowerPoint in unique and innovative ways.
  • Develop logos for new brands where applicable or refresh existing logos.
  • Create packaging designs and guidelines for specific brands.
  • Build out style guides based on specific brand identity.
  • Develop graphics and signs for trade shows.
  • Create digital assets for marketing.
  • Create and/or work with existing die lines, existing design files, and style guides to develop production-ready designs.
  • Brainstorm with creative team to develop design concepts, gather research, and build mood boards.
  • Maintain, organize, and update digital brand assets on server.
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with senior team members to receive feedback.
  • Liaising effectively with other departments such as business development, licensing, and marketing.
  • Comfortable building websites on platforms like Wix or Squarespace.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing, Graphics or related discipline
  • Portfolio of design work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Fluent in Mac platform
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint, MS Office, Apple Keynote
  • Ability to pick up concepts and brand voice easily
  • The ability to see projects through from inception to production with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
  • The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
  • The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
  • Ability to present new ideas to team and management.
  • Experience with 3D rendering

Salary range will be determined based on commensurate experience.
